Comparison pharagraph.

I've always studied at home, everytime I had an exam or homework to do I did everything at home. Some of my friends always went to the library and I though 'why going to the library when you can stay at home?' Well, now I know why.

When I was on 2º of Bachillerato I was always really stressed and everytime I had to study at home I found a different problem: the neighbors are playing music too loud, or if I'm too tired I want to rest at the sofa... so I said 'let's go to the library', and only the first day I realised too many differences.

Something that I like about it is that I study so much more than at home, I think it's because I see everybody studying and I feel the pressure to do it too. Another thing is that everybody is quiet and I can concentrate better, and at home I get distracted by television, my cute dog or whatever. But something that is just a little problem is that library opens and closes at a certain hour and at home I can be studying until the hour I want.

But honestly, after these differences, I prefer library, but obviously I will study at home when I don't have another choice.

Introduction and conclusion.

Why is violence against women happening in the 21st century? Many women are being mistreated by her husbands, being vulnerable. Sadly each time we switch on the TV we see another crime about that field.

We all should be aware of this hectic trouble in order to eradicate it at all with less murders, crimes and less broken families.

As we've seen, violence against women is still happening, maybe in a minor way, but that must be stopped now. Lives are not something we can end with just because we think that that life belong us. We are humans but we don't behave like that. I wanted to remember a quote that makes everyone thinks: 'I see humans, but no humanity'.

Miley Cyrus.

I) Miley Cyrus started her career being such a innocent girl with a blonde wig and now she has become in a adult (a little bit controversial) with clear ideas about who she is and what she wants to do.

II) Physical characteristics.

A) Beautiful.

C) Powerful voice.

III) Personality.

A) Generous. She has her own foundation to help homeless people. She donates a lot of money to different charities and also she is involved in many cases about solidarity.

B) She is a free spirit.

C) She cares too much about everyone.

IV) Family.

A) Her dad is a country singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, mostly famous for his song 'Achy Breaky Heart'.

B) Her godmother is Dolly Parton.

C) Her brother has a rock band called 'Metro Station', and her two sisters are models and journalists.

V) Acting and music career.

A) At the age of 8 she acted on a movie of Tim Burton called 'Big Fish'.

B) At the age of 12 she auditioned for Hannah Montana, the serie that launched her to the fame.

C) She has also made a lot of different movies and remakes on tv shows and series.

D) She has achieved a lot of success with her music.

VI) As you can see, Miley Cyrus is not also a big artist but a solidary person. Hated by so many people but loved for most. Just a free young spirit doing what she loves the most, helping people and making music.

A good weekend!

This last weekend I went to Madrid to see a concert of one of my favourites groups, Fifth Harmony.

I spent there 3 days and I had enough time to visit the capital. I have never been there before so it was really exciting to me.

What I love the most of Madrid is the architecture, every building seemed like a monument, honestly, they are so beautiful. Another thing that I really like is the mix of nationalities that you can find in an only place.

But there is something that I don't like, and it is the amount of people that there are only in a street, when I was walking trough 'Gran Vía' I felt really overwhelmed, I couldn't walk calmly and that is something I don't like.   

And about the concert, I can honestly say that it was the best experience of my life, they were amazing and I can say that one of my dreams came true! That was the first time ever that I travelled outside Murcia to go to a concert, so you can imagine how happy it made me.

Opinion paragraph.

It's so ironic how we want the world and the society to be better and we still allowing the bullfighting.

It breaks my heart everytime I see a bullfight in television, how can that be called ''art''? Everytime I have en argument with someone that like that they say that it is a tradition and it can't be banned. But just because it's a tradition doesn't mean that is right. They are KILLING an INNOCENT animal without a purpose, they make the bull suffer until his death, that is INHUMAN. 

Hopefully, these last years more and more people is being conscious about what bullfighting really is and are fighting for this to be finally banned. In Catalonia this was banned in 2011, and there are others cities where people against bullfighting are fighting for this to be banned in their city too.

I hope that in a couple of years this will be finally banned and we could call bullfighting 'history'.

''Dogs mustn't be in the parks'' Why not?

The other day we were in class and we gave some opinions and we had to say if we agreed or not and a classmate said that 'dogs mustn't be in the parks', something that I really disagree with.

I disagree because dogs has the right to be in a park like all of us, I believe in animal equality and I think that if a person can be in a park, why can't a dog? If the problem is that you think the dog will be dangerous you can use a muzzle (something that I don't like but..) but the best way to end with all this struggle is to create a place where all the dogs can be free and running with their owners and being happy, because dogs deserve that.

Description of a photo: The Giant's causeway.

This week our teacher showed us a photo of the Giant's causeway and we had to write and describe what we saw there, then, in other class, we had to give our essays to our classmate and we had to peer-edit their work, so here is my description finished.

As a big fan os nature and sea I would love to go to this place.

In the right of the photo there are many stones and in the left there is a wave coming over the stones.

On the top of the photo there is also a big stone and everything is covered by the sea.

At first view it seems peaceful, it would be the perfect place to go to take photos. Maybe it's a cold place, that's what I feel looking at it.

If I had the chance to go to this place I would go, it looks beautiful and unforgettable.

Fear of being late.

I'm gonna talk about if new technologies are positive or not.
In my opinion, new technologies can be positive in a lot of ways, but you should know which is the right one.
New technologies can help you to do a lot of things you didn't know you can do, and they also help you to keep in touch with people that are far away, so you can talk with them and even watch them behind the screen, that's one of my favourite things.
But there are mean people who use it to steal passwords, hack webcams, personal photos, personal information... and that's something that should stop now.
Some people say that the world was better without all these new technologies but I think that as long as we use it correctly, everything will be okey.
